Where Have I Been??

I've been silent for a while...posting a news story here and there. I just haven't had much to say for some reason. Life has been busy and full of things to write about but for some reason I just haven't felt like blogging. I think I just needed a break!

So, Campo will be 11 months next Friday and he started walking last week! He's getting pretty good at it. It's not his main mode of transportation but he always tries it first and then usually plops down and crawls the rest of the way.

Me Too will be 3 on Tuesday. I can't believe it! She's been quite a challenge behaviorally lately. It would take much too long to go into here but maybe in another post.

Big Bear is enjoying Pre-K 4 and is excited to turn 5 in December. We are having a joint birthday party for the girls in a few weeks. It will be a dinosaur party! Big fun!

I'm currently battling pneumonia. Not fun!

Doug is basically unemployed for the moment. The economy seems to have gotten the better of the company that he was working for and they just don't have much for him to do. We are faithful that the Lord has a plan for us and that something will work out very soon. After 5 years of this, we are learning how to handle it pretty well I think! And I don't feel like we have to worry too much because now that Obama is president, supposedly he'll be paying our mortgage and gas so that will help a lot.

Speaking of the election...well, let's not. I still can't. I will...but I can't right now. I'm channeling my bad feelings into fighting FOCA so expect to be hearing about that soon.

Here is a cute video of Campo dancing. We're still trying to capture the walking on video. It happens in such short spurts when we're not ready so it's tough to get!

Campo also talks! No really, he does! He says "hi". Here it is on video since you don't believe me! It's towards the end...sorry for the long wait to get to the good stuff but it's worth it! He also loves to wave and you'll get to see that too. Oh yeah, and you get to hear Me Too's lovely singing in the background!

So cute!! I still don't think of Max as almost 1!!! Time goes by too fast. I was just thinking of blogging again so great to see you back on, too.

It's been hard for me to blog lately as well, with all my anxiety about the election and then my hopes being dashed.
