Angels Wear Sweatpants?

I've been following the story of Heidi's baby for a while now. I don't know how I got turned onto it but I always check in to see the latest. Her baby was diagnosed with a condition in the womb...actually, if memory serves, the baby wasn't actually diagnosed until after he was born. But early on they knew that there was a possibility that the baby would not live, and if he did, he would have a lot of serious issues to deal with right off the bat. And he has. But he recently came home from the NICU. What drew me to this story is Heidi's attitude about the whole thing. She dealt with it in such a real and true human way but always remembered that God was in control and had a plan. I have always had the impression that giving something up or dealing with struggles meant you have to be happy about it - or at least appear that way. I'm learning that isn't the case. You can be sad, angry, and upset about things...as long as in the end you remember that God is in control and that everything we feel, say and do should be to His glory and honor. This is how Heidi has dealt with it. This post tells the heartwarming details of how her community has pulled together to serve and bless her. The Lord has shown her that not only is He in control, but He is always there providing for our needs - even ones we haven't recognized that we have yet! Great read! And you can find out if angels wear sweatpants or not!
